MemberI have AOL 9 (BETA) though it is not much different from AOL 8 (PLUS) but I will have to say it is a lot faster especially with DSL (I use BellSouth DSL). I would suggest anyone to wait until they come out with the official ones, because AOL 9 takes a lot of spaces.

I have never found AOL to be spyware. They advertise, sure, but they are trying to make money. They include software that works with their software to make it a big bundle. That isn’t spyware.

MemberLike I said, they advertise. They would never put spyware in their own program. You have an option in their software to make the ads go away. They do not contain spyware.

MemberMe604, Aol is not spyware. You should do some research before posting your opinions as facts.

For these not having AOL accounts can try the public BETA downloads at: http://beta.aol.com but AOL 9.0 and other are not available to non-AOL members, maybe at a later date, who knows. 🙂
