Ps Have a great 2010 everyone xlol ๐ฎ I wasn’t even trying to … ruin anything. I’m just trying to say that the parallel exists, and that (going off of what Jeff said), people are exploring the medium and social networking mimics real socialization. Finding out that not everyone is interesting will drive the next iteration of social networks.
And while ‘keeping close to people by hearing about the little things’ may seem great, it doesn’t scale well. Maybe I just don’t want to feel close to everyone? And this comes back to it being what you make of it, and who you are interested in. I recently unfollowed two people who tweet 10-30 times per day, way too much noise. I might be interested, but that drowns out other, more important, people.
Another core problem is the variation in topics. I’d love to hear about what project someone is doing at work, but I definitely don’t care about their dumb relationship bull****, leave that out.

ParticipantUse Firefox with the VideoDownloadHelper extension. Should be able to grab the mp4 format which will open in Windows Media Player.
