Hey ppl what’s up? well im new here, this place kind of cool dude, lol anyhow here is my problem, i installed the new “Windows Live Messenger” but i really don’t like it, mostly cause it can’t use my life support (Msn Plus). so i uninstalled it an installed back the Msn Messenger 7.5 but then when i go to sign in, my auto sign-in is not there 🙁 so i put in my password an stuff an sign in, only to realise that i have lost all my custom emotions, winks settings etc. so i tried doing a system restore but it didn’t work, so i was forced to install back the Windows Messenger, anyone can help me get back the msn 7.5 with my custom emotions, winks, settings etc please? i will really appreciate any help anyone can offer. Well, your “life support” is alive and compatible now with Windows Live Messenger! This new version was released yesterday and all Messenger Plus! fans are gonna love it. (including me)

messenger plus for windows live messenger is now here!
but if u still detest the new live messenger then u can get an emoticon backup utility and save your emoticons and settings (check out this thread)
u could always install both messengers on your system (7.5 and WLM) u never know it might grow on you!

You can install both messengers on your system although if you want messenger plus you can only have one version (either messeger plus or messenger plus live) To install both versions:
1) Remove all versions of messenger from your computer
2) Install messenger 7.5.XXX
3) Open the program files folder and change the name of the folder “MSN Messenger” to “MSN Messenger 7.5”
4) Install Windows Live MessengerWhichever version of messenger plus you want to install the client’s folder in the program files folder for that client must be “MSN Messenger”
