Well my weekend isn’t TOOOOOO packed. This past Thursday night, I went with my mom to the firehouse to play bingo, and I ended up winning $120! So, that money will be used on Saturday when I go with my mom shopping. I need some new clothes for work…blah!
Friday night I’ll be working, and Sunday morning I’ll be working brunch at the restaurant at 7AM!!! I am sooooo not a morning person. But since I just started my job, I’m still training, so I’m sure I’ll be home around 7 or 8 tonight. Then I’ll probably have a few cocktails to celebrate Friday 😀
Working today (Friday), then cheering on the Pacers in NBA playoffs tonight. Getting together with some friends afterwards. Saturday I’m going to be busy working on some changes here at BigBlueBall 😉 and I’ll squeeze in some tennis in there. I go to church on Saturday night, mainly because I like sleeping in on Sunday morning, and afterwards we’ll probably go out on a “date night” somewhere. Sunday morning I’ll sleep in a bit, read the Sunday paper, sip coffee. The rest of the day is open. The weather has been beautiful here, so maybe I’ll play some tennis and do some work in the yard… soak in some sun.
LAST DAY OF FINALS!!! I’m going to sleep sleep sleep some more and sleep again!:woot: Next weekend is when i’m going on a mini-vaction so that’s what i’m looking forward to, and my jacuzzi tub in my hotel room heheheheheh.
MOVING OUT OF THE DORMS FOREVER. today is my last morning in college dorms for the rest of my life. i’ll be moving out shortly, living at home this summer, then enjoying the bliss that is an off-campus house next year.
meaning this weekend is gonna be spent moving back into my room at home, getting stuff set up the way it should be, etc… then going and finding all the miscellaneous stuff we still need for the house next year.

Here’s a fun idea for you…my roommate and I saw this technique at her ex’s apartment, and we plan to do it next year. Save a bunch of liquor bottles throughout the summer. Even if you don’t drink, find some friends or relatives who do, and ask them to save the bottles for you. Then, buy a bunch of different colored highlighter markers and take them apart. Place the ink cartridge in the bottle. Line the bottles up on a shelf, and then get a string of black lights and hide them behind the bottles. When you turn the black lights on, your bottles will glow. Trust me, it looks really cool.

we’ve already got several highlighter filled bottles already… and yeah it looks pretty cool. and technically they dont even need to be liquor bottles, bottles like Sobe work pretty well too.
i think this week i’m gonna be looking around for stuff that i still need, like a bed (any ideas? i’m still debating what exactly to get… has to be fairly small, but comfortable. not sure if i want a futon or not – i’m thinkin not), some kind of desk lamp, etc.
Sounds like it’s a pretty exciting weekend for the folks around her. Lovely to hear. My weekend just ended, blegh. It’s not bad having Wed/Thurs as weekends except that all the good movies come out on Friday and I’m just crap outa luck unless I go to the early shows *shrug* I’m really looking forward to Danny the Dog, or Unleashed…whichever you prefere to call it. Jet Li’s my little kick-your-butt he-ero. It looks really good.
Um, though for this Sat-Sunday I’m not doing a whole lot. Just hoping for some decent weather so my mother and I can finally till my garden…if I can find a spot for it that is. I have so many just…neat things growing all over my yard that I don’t know if I want to till any of it! Flowers and violas and ferns and rubarb everywhere! Ugh, I’m loving it. I’d love it even more if this rain would stop! *blink blink*
Other than that, just my usual work…cleaning up the house…cleaning up after the boys…I have to strengthen the steady the beam in the garage that my punching bag is hanging by (It sways when I hit it…eep!). So yeah, pretty laid back for the most part.At least I’m feeling better though! *wink* Yay.
