Hello everyone
Just wanted to say have a very happy Christmas 2006.
Hope you are sharing it with your loved ones and have a great day.
Personally for me that means a lot of cooking for my crowd, but one that I always enjoy.
Anyway have a top day folks only a few days to go … *rushes to wrap those all important presents* !!
December 19, 2006 at 7:08 pm #155616OreoMemberI’m doing all sorts of cooking and things. The whole family will be there and I have tons to bring so that the little “urchins” (also known as nieces and nephews) have enough to eat.
Speaking them…I should probably get their presents this week! Happy Christmas everyone! 🙂 Thanks for starting this thread Sarah!! 🙂December 20, 2006 at 7:32 am #155608Jeff HesterKeymasterHo-ho-ho… Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! May 2007 be the best yet!
Cheers!
December 20, 2006 at 12:07 pm #155623PolarBearNPRParticipantBwahahaha – is it Jeff or Kenny Rogers in a Santa hat?
Seriously though – I wish everyone the very best holiday season, doing the things you love most and being with those closest to you.
Be safe, be happy, and be blessed.
December 21, 2006 at 1:16 am #155625PhilipModeratorMerry Christmas to everyone at BBB especially Jeff (fantastic administrator, I don’t know how he does it) and all you wonderful people who continue to inform, amaze and enthrall me with your musings in the forums.
It is going to be a warm (30C, 86F) and humid Christmas here in Malaysia. Can anyone send some snow? :p

December 21, 2006 at 4:02 am #155617gossipingraeMemberhave a happy and healthy holiday! ring in 2007 in style!
December 21, 2006 at 7:41 am #155609Jeff HesterKeymasterKenny Rogers? I guess with the white beard… I’ll let that one go. :p
I’ve also been told I look like Billy Joel, Danny Elfman (before I grew my goatee), and even Orson Wells (“…we will sell no wine, before it’s time…”). But most would say I look more like Santa in that pic (well, apart from the beer and cigar). Maybe Santa on New Year’s Eve?Anyhow, it’s shaping up to be a warm Christmas here in Southern California, too. Here’s a photo from my group’s Christmas lunch for work (earlier today):
Not too bad. And the local mountains (about an hour away) are covered in snow right now.
December 21, 2006 at 12:43 pm #155619MrEggsaladParticipantHeh, nice pictures Jeff! Merry Christmas to all! And, what would Christmas be without that one guy giving you that odd Christmas related thing? So, have fun! :p
December 21, 2006 at 4:41 pm #155626Leapy LeoMemberHappy Christmas to everyone on the forum from me too.
Could do with some snow here in England. The Bookies are offering odds of 12 to 1 on their being even one flake of snow on X-mas day. A better bet would be “mildest Christmas on record”. I’m so disappointed. I wanted to get my sledge out of the shed and show my son how it’s done!
Oh and Jeff, it is definitely Billy Joel [circa 1980s] that you resemble…
😀

Your Sledge?! Oh dear god who you taking that to, about there being no snow?!
On the same topic, we apparently here (in Ontario, Canada) will not be getting any snow for Christmas either:( I mean, NO snow, especially now that it’s winter? Thats crap! BUT, the nights have been getting a bit cooler (just a bit), so maybe we can wake up to some frost on our cars. That would be a bit nice :p
