October 9, 2005 at 6:51 pm #131467larrygmanMemberWell thanks to all for your warm greetings. By the way the G is short for Glue Man lol. I am a furniture maker in spare time and friends of mine came up with the Gman because on weekends my hands are usually tipped with elmers wood glue. Thanks again Gman
October 10, 2005 at 3:47 am #131458RabidKittenParticipantOh golly, a furniture maker? Gah, that would be amazing. I took a woods class for a couple years…gosh I loved it. What kind of furniture to you focus in on? I knew of a lady who made twisted branch chairs and benches, another fellow who did stained glass tabletops and rot iron work, another guy who focussed in on woodworking but making bows and the like…all that fun stuff.
I’m sorry, I’m gushing, I just think it’s amazing to find someone who’s really into some kind of craft like that. I really could watch someone wittle or blow glass or…well…do about any kind of craft for hours. *chuckles*
Welcome to the BigBlueBall, and enjoy your stay, Larry. Just try not to get glue on the keyboard…that might be a … *wink wink, nudge* Sticky situation… *shameless pun*
…wow…that was so cheesy, it made me want to kick my -own- butt.
Welcome.
