HELP! cam keeps disconnecting

Whenever I try to use my cam on any messenger, I keep getting disconnected from the internet as soon as the cam starts…Sorry if this is a really stupid question but I have searched tonnes of sites for help and I still don’t have a clue what I’m doing wrong.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Are you on dialup or broadband?

dialup…we’re switching to broadband next week though…will that make a difference?

Hi,

This has recently started happening to me too. It used to be fine on MSN…but now it just disconnects me. I’ve reinstalled MSN and MSN Plus but to no avail. If anyone has any ideas, it’d be appreciated!
