MemberI just bought a new computer with Windows XP (with internet explorer 6) and when I want to open sites with Java applets on them, I can’t and it shows: “Your browser is unable to support Java. Please enable Java and reload.”
I already installed Microsoft Java VM and Microsoft SDK for Java 4.0. But it still didn’t work. In my security settings for IE6, I already have ‘scripting of java applets’ enabled.
Does anyone know how to get my Java working? Do I need to change some settings or install something new? Thanks.

MemberHave u tried to manually download it from the java site, the exe file? Cause when I got my new computer I downloaded java from the site and it wouldn’t work. Then I manually downloaded the java.exe file to my harddrive, installed it and it worked fine.

MemberOk, I installed Java Web Start and Microsoft VM as you guys said, but it still doesn’t work. It comes up with an error saying:
Quote:quote:Unable to load applet. You may need to download an updated version of the Microsoft VM from:
I went to the site, but I don’t really see anything that I can download for an update.
