MemberCan you actually view websites, because it could be a problem with your internet connection?
When you reinstalled msn messenger, did you make sure to fully uninstall the messenger first, then make sure you restart your computer and then reinstall it!?

ParticipantHey everyone with Windows ME having a problem with signing in, ive found the solution :D.
Ok, heres what to do. Uninstall any versions of MSN5 and MSN6 you may have
tried to install. This procedure involves editing the registry, do so at your own risk, and
only if you feel confident doing so.Start the registry editor by clicking Start, then Run, enter “regedit” and
click OK.Hope it helps 😉
Then go to (they look like small folders) My
ComputerHKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftMSNMessenger.Click the ‘MSNMessenger’ key (which again, looks like a folder), then go to
the Edit menu, and then choose Delete.Say “Yes” to confirm the operation. Then re-install MSN Messenger 6.

MemberI am having the same problems with msn 6! It seems like there is alot of people having this problem, i think the only thing we can do is wait for the full version to be released! Remember its just a preview and they will still be fixing the problems with it. 😉

ParticipantIf you are on a firewall that filters outbound connections please check to make sure that MSN messenger can connect without a prompt box asking for permission. This will work for some of you like it did me…
