I really need help on installing MSN Messenger Preview 6. A week ago I had downloaded the Messenger Preview 6 and it worked fine. I wanted to uninstall MSN Messenger Plus so I uninstalled MSN Preview 6. Then when Messenger Preview 6 setup is finishing installing and it gets to “Publishing Product Information” it stops and gives this error:
An error occured during the installation of assembly component {3A14AA35-9486-4282-8449-AAE866A17D23}.
HRESULT: -2147024713.Then it says:
MSN Messenger setup failed with error code: ‘1603’. Please go to the MSN Messenger Web Site and download the software from there.
I have tried uninstalling and installing MSN 5, and the Preview several times. I did have MSN Messenger Plus but as I said, got rid of it. I have deleted cookies, checked firewall, everything.

MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR REGISTERY FIRST
Uninstall all versions of msn from your computer,
Delete all MSN related registery keys.Try finding: {3A14AA35-9486-4282-8449-AAE866A17D23} in the registery and removing it.
re-download the setup from the official source,
install, reboot, sign in.REMEMBER, this is EXPERIMENTAL, do not blame me for damage done to any of your belongings.
To fix the 1601 error do this:
1. Click START, and then click RUN.
2. In the OPEN box, Type msiexec /unreg, and then click OK
3. When this process is complete, click START, and then click RUN.
4. In the OPEN box, type msiexec /regserver, and then click OK.
5. Now install MSN 6.
