Help! my webcam doesn’t work on MSN 6.0

i just bought a new webcam. it works when i use the audio/tuning wizard on msn6.0 and also on the webcam settings, but when i try to have a webcam conversation with my friend, it just shows a black screen and at webcam settings, no image appears anymore… it’s just a grey screen. i don’t know what’s wrong with it… when i restart my comp, i see my image on webcam settings again but this disappears after initiating a webcam conversation with my friend. can someone please help me?

If it is Logitech, then the support website addresses the problem. Good luck!

I have ME running and have the same problem exactly. My cam is a Genius Video Web V2.
The Genius tech help were absolutely useless! I still have no idea….
