So yeah, i downloaded the new IE(7), and now i cant open links/profiles etc its fustrating the hell out of me…is there anyway to fix this, i got rid of IE 7 and then installed 6 again, and its still doing it so i reinstalled 7…if anyone can help…thanks in advance.
If you reinstalled IE6 and it’s still acting strangely, you may have some spyware that’s preventing your IE from working properly. Download Firefox (free) and tell me if the Internet works okay with that. If it does, then you may need to get some spyware cleaner and clean your PC, or do a System Restore to a previous date.
if it is spyware, I recommend Spybot: Search and Destroy and/or Adaware. They tend to get the job done 🙂
Over both of those, I recommend AVG Anti-Spyware. But all three is actually the best to have, some catch things others don’t.
I’ve tried downloading firefox(that was my 2nd browser) and the same thing keeps happening, i also did a disk clean up,ran adaware, spybot…and defrag and its still not working right, its puzzling. *note* after i reinstalled IE 6 and it was still doing it, i went ahead and took that out and installed back 7 because i liked it better.
