hey i was using a older version and it said i need to upgrade and i did and now i get get sign on its starts to and it goes away i have removed it and tried to install the new version and same thing ????
can some tell me whats wrong

come on guys ,,, i just tried new 7.1 or something and it goes to launch and it goes away and i see the icon on task bar and as soon as i go to click it it goes away ,, anyone know whats wrong

Are you using windows 7 64bit? If so I think AIM 7 has problems with it. Try installing AIM 5.9 and see how that works, find it here:

SteveThat’s interesting, Steve1209. I’m using AIM 7.2.7.2 on Windows 7 64-bit, and I haven’t had any issues at all. Have you experienced any? If you read about it, do you have any links?
lilrobo, it looks like the latest version is 7.3 from aim.com. If you’re using version 7.1, why don’t you try a complete uninstall and then install version 7.3?

My friend had problems with AIM 7.1 on Win 7 X64.
