I am afraid there is not much you could do about this.

If they contact your son and his girlfriend through any instant messaging client, block them. If on a chat site/channel, have them to change screen names or find another chat sites/channels. If they live in your area and pose threat to your son and his girlfriend, you could go to the police and get something like restraining order against them… For best results getting the police to help you is evidences against them.

Yes there are laws against stalking and harassing on internet. If they keep harssing and following your son and his girlfriend on the internet, like chat room to chat room, constantly sending emails, sending messages. First thing to do is have your son say to them I do not ever want to hear from you again. No reason needs to be said why. All that needs to be said is I do not want to hear from you ever again.

Never ever reply back to any messages or emails or anything they send.

Harassers like to play guilt trip and make it look like they are innocent and your the guilty party and try to blame you if you report them. So if you do not reply back to them they have nothing on you.

Always save everything they send you messages, emails or what else they send. This way you have evidence they are harassing you.

Try and get a hold of their isp somehow. Then report them to their isp also.

If it is a chat room contact the owner of the chat room, if it is yahoo messenger contact yahoo and tell them.

If they do not listen you can go to your local police and tell them and also report them to their isp company.

take screen shots of you have to with your print screen button usually located on the top right of your computer. if you see a message pop up click on yahoo messanger and click save message so you can have them to read offline and print. With the print screen you hit the print screen that saves it then open up ms paint paste it to ms paint then save it so you can print it out so they know excatly which chat or messanger it came from.

Also print out all your emails from them(do not reply back to them)

Take them to your local police. Fins their isp and send copies all the evidence you have against them and send them a copy of all you have on them(remember never reply back to them they want to try and make it look like your harassing them).

Do all that and you should be rid of them for good.
