Hi there, the last 2 days, when I try to write someone on my yahoo IM or they IM me, my IM window is so big I cant see what I type, its like longer then my computer screen across, the only way I can see what is being typed is if I move the screen each time, and this mean each and every time a new IM window opens, I looked on yahoo web site and on preferences and cannot seem to figure out how to fix this problem, any help is appreciated. thanks so much!:woot:

Uninstall Yahoo Messenger then go to your Programfiles folder and delete the remaining Yahoo! folder then reboot.
When you come back go to http://messenger.yahoo.com/ and download Yahoo! messenger.
Your old reg settings on messenger will have been cleared and reset and your im’s back to size proper with out too much hassle.

**Note: the ‘…’ in the key above is a unique identifier. It will be different on each system. It is usually the first key right after .DEFAULT in HKEY_USERS. **
I used the following settings:
Height: c8 (200 decimal)
Width: c8 (200 decimal)
VSplitPos: 64 (100 decimal)Disclaimer: You can seriously mess up your computer is you don’t know what you are doing in Regedit. If you don’t know how to even start the registry editor, then don’t attempt this hack.

Your approach is kinda different and dangerous, hehehe..
So as tex have warned, dont try this if you really have no idea what you are doing… -
