Stigmata, do you get the same thing when you go to the News forums? Feedback has been that it’s working in there — just not in the main forums.
Ok everyone, please give it another try. It should be working in all forums, on all mobile devices now. If it still doesn’t work for you, please let me know the make and model of your device, and browser (if applicable).
Thanks for your help, and a special thanks to dartho, the developer of the mobile detection plug-in we’re using, for helping get this working properly.
One final request: If you could, please upload a screenshot or photo of your mobile viewing the BigBlueBall forums. I’d like to see what it looks like on a wide range of devices.
OK, so here is a few shots from my Blackberry. The first one is the main forum home page. The second one is a forum topic, and the third is a news topic. As you can see, everything looks good except the news article, where it makes it look like the whole article is a giant link.

Awesome! It’s working perfectly in ALL the forums for me too now. The colors are a little weird, but it’s way faster and actually pretty usable. Nice work!

The main page (http://www.bigblueball.com) has not been reformatted; only the forums.
What kind of phone do you have?
Uhh, I don’t know about anyone else with an iPhone or iPod Touch, but I’m pretty sure I’d rather not see a watered down mobile version when my browser supports the real thing…
David, I generally agree, although I’m working on an iPhone-specific version that will follow (along the lines of what Facebook has).

Any chance we could revert to the normal html version if we wanted?
I sorta prefer it to this version :$
