Ever since aol upgrades aim expess on 3-3-03 I have been unable to use it at work I just stay on the connecting part forever. Can anyone help or is there any link to a pre 3-3-03 version of aim express.

If you go to the aim express website: http://www.aim.com/get_aim/express/aim_expr.adp there is a sentence that sais :
“If your system does not meet the requirements to run AIM Express, you can still access the older version of AIM Quick Buddy[/b] here.”
So if you click onto AIM Quick Buddy it will open in almost whatever system you might have.
Oh…if you go into Quick Buddy, it will still ask if you are sure you dont want to use the AIM Express and so on, at the end there is a link in blue saying “here”, click there!!
N.-I forgot to mention that Quick buddy has never worked. My company blocks http://www.aim.com. The place we went was aol.co.uk or aol.au but when aol updated in March it has never worked if anyone knows why i’d like to know thanks

Do you have WIndowns NT at work? They might have a security system where you cant download anything, which prevents certain programs to work as well. Thats what happened to me
Yeah win 2000 and I can’t DL anything so I was using IM express which was working fine till AOL upgraded it in the beg of March. So I was looking to see if there is the anyway the older version is anyware the one right before the 3-3-03 update Quick buddy doesn’t work and the ’00 version I’ve seen doen’t work aswell. Anyhelp would be nice 🙂
TimI’ve always gotten AIM Express to load, but can never get it to connect. I think it’s my work’s firewall or something. Sucks. At least I can still connect to Yahoo, IRC, and ICQ2Go.
