hey evryone
im sick of all those bots PMin me. however I dont wanna turn off PMs from strangers coz thats how ppl in chat rooms chat nowadays. mostly, the ppl that chat openly in the rooms are bots. is there any way I can filter those messages from bots (html links, only 1 stupid smiley etc.)
and 1 more thing, ive tried various third party clients for yahoo. but most of them barely resemble the original yahoo messenger. ive been using YM for almost 6 mths now and im too lazy to learn usin a new client. cud anyone please tell me of a client which looks almost exactly like the original messenger with the features of a good 3rd party client.
any help wud be really appreciated.
get y!tunnel pro…. that helped me…. I know of a place where u can download it and it comes with the registration key in the zip file… but I dont think its allowed here……

starbearer I know you said you dont want to learn a new chat client and all but its the only way you are really going to be able to filter out bots. Yazak is very straight forward and easy to work. it also is very boot resistant when useing ychat.. and its FREE!
the buddy list is simple to use and has a deny a buddy build in to it
the chat room is real easy to get the hang off and looks alot like a spiced up yahoo chat room and you can limit the number of pm boxs you have open and easyly turn on and off your pm’s add names to ignore and words to the filters thats bots say!
ytunnel cost like 17 bux or someting and it is obsolete and I dont beleave thay are going to make an update to it anytime soon.. so I wouldnt waste my time and money on it if I was you
