PLEASE HELP!!

January 8, 2003 at 1:57 am #98760fuzzface00MemberConcerning “unofficial” expressions:
I’ve played around with creating AIM Expressions. I’ve discovered that if you create a “broken” one (a few AIM Expression tools don’t have great error checking) that when you try to download it you will get the first dialog box “This is an unofficial AIM expression…” but not the second one which says “You have downloaded an AIM Expression, do you want to switch to it now…” Since you didn’t mention the second dialog box, I’ll guess that the download succeeded, but AIM percieved it to be corrupt.
Until the tools get better, or AOL releases official tools, keep in mind that an “unofficial” AIM Expression might not work perfectly on your system… even if you have tested it elsewhere.
January 10, 2003 at 2:42 am #98759littleorfnannieMemberwell, i tried using preferences to get aim expressions but it doesn’t work. and the sites w/ the unofficial expressions work on my friends’ computers and not mine…i don’t know what on mine could cause that though? ::shrug:: any ideas?

January 10, 2003 at 8:34 am #98757SlumMemberOk since I made the error of posting my question else where… I shall post it here:
I am using the Aim-expressions creator, and I have everything done… but I can’t seem to get the Website to work. I uploaded the picture to the site, and it still won’t work.
I thought this is all that I would need, any one know why it doesn’t work?January 10, 2003 at 11:11 am #98756SlumMemberNevermind, I figured out what was the problem… I was trying to use Geocities as the place to host my files… and since Geocities has those ads that pop up, it wasn’t working. All is well, thanks anyway!:)
January 10, 2003 at 8:32 pm #98754matttrenMemberIs it me or are expression sort of annoying? I got them all shut off from other users.
January 11, 2003 at 10:56 am #98755SlumMemberI suppose its all your own preference… I only use one since I made it.
