You can get earlier versions of YM here – but I’d guess only about 5% chance that that will improve anything. 🙁I really can’t figure what else you could try now … I guess/assume your W98 is SE(SecondEdition), and has all Windows Updates installed ?
And you don’t have WindowBlinds or AlienGuise on your PC there ?If/when you DO resolve your problems, do let us know how you did it!

Type “regedit”
Expand “HKEY_CURRENT_USER”
Expand “Software”
Expand “Yahoo”
Expand “pager”
Expand “profiles”
Expand whatever your screen name is
Expand “YbSkin”
Double click “YbSkinName”
What does it say? By default it should say “IndigoIndigo.xml”
The second thing “YbSkinned” should have the value of 1 if you double click it.
I think the problem is something with the registry as everyone else has said…I’ve noticed Yahoo! keeps adding new things in there and keeping old ones in there but not using them.
that didn work…….registry options were diff from wat u mentioned….like the it can have only 1 value either the indigo/indigo.xml or 1…, when i double click it…..
