hey guys. i don’t know what’s up with our yahoo messenger cause it has been a month since it was broken. the message is not showing. as if the color of the font is white. i can see the name of the one sending me a message but the message isn’t showing. this sucks big time. help me guys. i’ve downloaded it all over again but nothing changed.
help guys! um.. the message is not appearing but the name of the one who sent it does appear.. i don’t know what to do now. pretty please help me. i’ve downloaded it all over again but nothing happened. thanks yo. :p
i’ve done that but it didn’t work :c
you can try placing your mouse pointer over the message area and right clicking and try highliting the message area if the font is white it will show up highlited. if not then I am guessing that the one sending you messages is not typing but just sending blank messages. if it does show up ask them to change their font color or go to your preferences and change the fonts for all messages using your own font choice.
try highliting the message field to see if the message fonts are white if you highlite white fonts they will show up a different color.
Would just like to add in that william didn’t triple post, i just merged the two threads trisha started in the wrong way. Sorry!

bring up your yahoo messenger click on messenger than perferences choose category – appearences and in the section change fonts & colors reset your color then click ok when that box disappears click apply in the perference box then ok. Thats the only thing I can find that would relate to your problem. Do you have another account? and if so does the same thing happen?
If you cant find the relation to your problem and you uninstalled you must remember yahoo does not remove all it should remove, not sure why but they should.
But when you uninstall yahoo messenger, before you reinstall it go to your Program Files folder.
right click the remaining Yahoo! folder and select Delete
reboot
then come back on and re-download the Yahoo! Messenger.
this way you totally start with fresh settings.
and most problems with text settings etc should be exsponged.
