I’m having a severe nervous breakdown, and am severely suicidal to the point where I want to kill myself. With that being said, I request my ID here be deleted as soon as possible. Thanks.
October 19, 2007 at 5:43 pm #164886Jeff HesterKeymasterVen0m, I am deeply troubled by your statement. Do not do anything rash. Talk to someone you trust about what you’re going through. If you need help, call 1-800-356-5395.
I’m going to attempt to contact you privately to see what I can do.
October 19, 2007 at 6:16 pm #164887Jeff HesterKeymasterMichael, I sent an email to your @yahoo.com account. If you need to talk, you can always reach me via my cell at (909) 286-1952.
October 19, 2007 at 7:37 pm #164901PolarBearNPRParticipantVen0m, please, please, please find someone to talk to! I’m here if you want to talk – anytime!!!! (WLM) I know we don’t know each other much, but maybe it would be good to talk to someone who is “outside” the situation. Please . . . that’s what we’re here for.
October 19, 2007 at 9:43 pm #164909Doris KenneyParticipantVen0m, we’re all here for you. I know we’ve not spoken personally, but I’m certainly available if you want to talk.
-Doris-October 19, 2007 at 11:06 pm #164890MrEggsaladParticipantAh! Hey man, we are all here for you, come talk to us. I’m free like just about anytime, give me a holler on ANY IM, or call my cell (937-974-9837). Please talk to one of us.
October 19, 2007 at 11:56 pm #164896imported_Ven0mMemberThanks guys. I decided I’m going to check myself in a facility in an attempt to help myself.
October 20, 2007 at 12:04 am #164902PolarBearNPRParticipantOh – I am so glad to hear that! Thanks so much for letting us know. And remember that I’m always here (we all are) – really – just say Hi.
October 20, 2007 at 12:49 am #164906PhilipModeratorMy prayers are with you, Venom. You can contact me through WLM, if you need a sympathetic ear.
October 20, 2007 at 4:28 pm #164910Doris KenneyParticipantYou’ll be in my prayers as well.
-Doris-October 21, 2007 at 1:30 am #164892MrOatsMemberVenom, I am also glad to hear you are going to facility to get the help you need.
I have had a friend who was suicidal before…and know (somewhat) the difficulties that come with it…I feel for you. Please feel free to PM me, or email me, or IM me (if I am online) if you wish to talk with me about this. I will try my best to help you.
Also, I have found the Samaratins (it’s not a “religious” thing, despite the name) (Click Here to visit site) to be very helpful for emotional support. I have visited them before and recommend them. They are availible 24/7, they are confidential, and non-judgmental.
We all here for you. Please stay strong. Good luck with your treatment, and good intentions coming from me, to you.

October 23, 2007 at 3:39 am #164889RabidKittenParticipantI’ll keep a candle lit for you, doll. Good luck. I’ve had pals go through much the same, you’re not alone in that. So keep your chin up.
November 3, 2007 at 12:19 pm #164897imported_Ven0mMemberWell, as you can tell I’m back. After getting checked out, I was found to have bi-polar disorder (with manic depression), panic attacks, and generalized anxiety disorder. As much as it sucks, I’m going to beat them and overcome. =) I’m feeling much, much better, and thanks to everyone for their kind words. 🙂

November 3, 2007 at 3:18 pm #164911Doris KenneyParticipantI’m very familiar with bi-polar disorder, as it runs in my ex’s family. Ven0m, it is a battle, and sometimes it’s really hard. But please don’t ever give up because you really can learn to manage it quite well.
My ex was not diagnosed for years. He rode a roller coaster through life. Earlier this year, doctor’s finally got it right. And now, he’s really turned his whole life around. I’ve never seen him experience happiness the way he can now. While bad things obviously will continue to happen in life, he’s able to deal with them, without that awful plunge the roller coaster used to send him on.
I don’t know if medications are a part of your plan, but if they are, please know it can take several months to get them evened out and working well. Sometimes they need adjustment, sometimes changing. But if you stick with it, even when it doesn’t feel like it’s working, you will find a level place that you many never have believed existed.
I’d be happy to share my/his experiences with you if you ever feel it would help. Several of his family members are diagnosed, and I keep an ever watchful eye on my son. I know the effects it can have on you, and those who care about you, but I promise it can get better and it will if you just stick with it.
You’ve taken the hardest first steps. The courage it takes to do that should never be overlooked. What follows will be hard work, but it will be worth it in the long run. I have no doubt you can do it!! Feel free to contact me if anything I’ve learned or experience can help you in any small way.
