MemberWhen I sign in to my account (**********@hotmail.com) it signs in, but immediately “loses connection”, then it tries to reconnect. Once it reconnects, it gives me this pop up saying, “The service is temporarily out of service.”, but I know this is a lie since I can still log on to my other account, and the service status states that everything is running fine. Furthermore, I can log on on a web based messenger with my account that isn’t working on my computer based one.
This is a real drag since most of my contacts on my current email I am temporarily using deleted me off their lists, or even worse blocked me for having another email account established before.
I will try to post a picture so you can understand what I am trying to say. Hopefully you can come up with a solution to htis problem

MemberNope, doesn’t work.
The error number is 80004005, and the version I am running is not windows messenger live, it is MSN 7.5 .0306. I refuse to use windows msn live, because my computer doesn’t have the specs to run the new features and all, while playing games.February 1, 2007 at 4:49 am #157461Feero

ModeratorHi Feero,
Welcome to BBB. Try doing this:
1) Exit Messenger first. Go to C:Documents and Settings>[your username]>Local Settings>Application Data>Microsoft>Windows Live Contacts. Delete everything in the folder. Restart Messenger and sign in.
If you can’t see the Local Settings Folder then you need to go to Windows Explorer; Tools>Folder Options>View>Hidden Files and Folders>Show hidden files and folders.
Hope this works. Please post back if you still have problems.

ModeratorYes, download the latest version of WLM8.1 and give it a try.
