Is there any possibility that I talk to any of the moderators , because when I try to send a PM I get a stupid error and when I try to add any to ICQ or YM they don’t reply …
May 4, 2005 at 7:50 pm #121015Hurricane22491MemberYou can email them, can’t you?
May 4, 2005 at 8:05 pm #121016DobrinMemberE-mailing is the same as posting in the forum. I want to talk to one “instantly”
May 4, 2005 at 8:51 pm #121010shifterMemberThe moderators are not always available “instantly”. If you have a question for a moderator and they aren’t available via IM, you will need to either email us or Private Message us. If you are recieving PM errors, it would be nice to solve that as well, so if you could give us some information about your system such as your Operating System and Browser type/version.
I am unable to use IM at the moment so I’m afraid I can’t help you, but I do check my emails quite frequently. If you had emailed me, you’d have already recieved a response! 🙂
May 5, 2005 at 7:27 am #121017DobrinMemberThis is what I get when I try to send a PM:
“Dobrin, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else’s post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
Log Out Home”I am using Windows XP SP2 and I tried both with Opera 8 Beta and IE 6.0 and I still can’t send PMs.
May 5, 2005 at 5:50 pm #121011shifterMemberOh, that’s not an error with the site. Private Messaging should be enabled for new members after 10 posts. Better stick with email until then Dobrin.

it’s what to do when all else fails(which happens quite a bit oddly enough).May 12, 2005 at 1:02 pm #121008detn8rParticipantEEDOK is correct. Usually there is always a moderator in the IRC channel at one point in the day.
May 13, 2005 at 9:50 pm #121014RabidKittenParticipantEven though most of the day the IRC channel is so dead that not even hitting it with those fun little paddles could revive it…
May 13, 2005 at 9:57 pm #121013TigerbladeParticipantnow that i’m back home and i can get into the channel, i see that there are FIVE PEOPLE in there. including me. it used to be an average of at least 8 people at all times, what happened??
come on people, get into IRC, it’s not half-bad. it’s only boring when no one is in there, but if you start going in, that problem is solved.
May 13, 2005 at 11:08 pm #121009DJHyperbyteMemberYes… and maybe we should get some IRC statistics on the site again, like the IRC statistics image I made (the one that was always on the right sidebar of the forum), or the code I wrote that can display which users are on IRC at the bottom of the forums. That way people can actually see how busy IRC is or is not. 🙂
Just some ideas…
