How can I install Yahoo IM w/o admin rights?

I can install Trillian here at work, but I can’t install Yahoo IM. Whenever I try to download it and install, it syas I need admin rights to do it on this machine. Is there a tricky way around this?

Try an older version of Yahoo, it’s worked for me in the past. Otherwise looks like your admin/firewall has it blocked.

try this, rename ymsgrie.exe to mspaint.exe . Open it and see if itll install. I used to do that with my school comp.

Renaming it didn’t help. Where can I get an older version of it?
