MemberHi,
Sometimes in chat room, I need to maintain voice on for quite a while and during that time, I’d also like to be able to type in the room. Selecting “hands-free” does not work for me because as soon as someone else talks, I have to click on the talk button again.
Is there any way or program that allows me to do that?
Thanks in advance.

MemberThanks.
I downloaded yaheek and tried to use the program. I couldn’t make it work. The buttons “Hotkey Enabled”, “Test” and “TOP” are all greyed out.
Does it work with YM 5.6?

Gaz this is NOT how these Forums work! Please do not offer help only if they email you. Understand that now nobody but that person has benifited. You had to have gotten the program or whatever from somewhere share that! Place links etc not your email.

ParticipantHi , I’m looking for an alternative to Yaheek. I find Yaheek extremely good but I need to have a program I can control remotely . If you have any alternatives, please let me know

ParticipantAfter some experimenting I found out this -:
You can manually have the talk button held down and type at the same time by -:
Clicking the talk button to give it the focus
Hold down the SPACE bar and press TAB
Press the SPACE twice
Press ENTER
Now you can talk and type at the same time .
To release the talk button, simply click it.February 7, 2004 at 1:10 pm #93739riff_raff_50076

ParticipantThanks riff_raff ,
Great Mic utility. However not programable . I have a karaoke program that posts lyrics to a chat room and is fully interfaced to Windows Media Player . I wanted to control the talk button from the karaoke program automatically but the mic_blocker needs the connection dragged over each use . Yaheek has a toggle but not accessible remotely . I’ll keep looking .Thanks again -
