Sometimes I log onto my msn as “appear offline” just to see if I have any new e-mail. The other day I did this. A good friend of mine somehow saw that I had logged into msn (even though my status was set to “appear offline” and I have the box checked that only allows people on my allow list to see me) and thought I had blocked her. By the way, I was using Windows Live Messenger.
I later asked my friend how she knew I signed in and she said she had a program that tells her when people log in and also when they start new conversations.
Does anybody know what kind of program this could be?
There is an addon that can notify you when the other has opened your IM window.
But, that’s just about it. The fact that she saw you coming online while she was on block and while you were on invisible mode too! Doesn’t make sense.
You said “thought” you blocked her.. Are you sure you did? 😉
