Let me see if I can explain this right. Im using the english USA version of Yahoo! Messenger but Im not in the USA. How do I select what region of the world I want to connect to thru to Yahoo! Chats?
You change the preferred content when logged into http://edit.yahoo.com or where ever else (find the My Account link).

Changed the perfer content setting but still the US chat rooms load…

That didnt work….Still shows the US chat rooms.
Another test: Im going to download my country’s version of YM and see if it shows up correctly in a VM machine.@Ven0m 237833 wrote:

Yes, like i said that worked in the VM.
But I want the US YM to display chat rooms for my region.
On a strange note, in my region’s YM, I can create chat rooms like the old YM.
