Hi everyone,
This has been bugging me for ages, I checked the ‘please remember my password’ box and now I can’t get it back. Where is my password stored on my computer?? (file?, registry? i can’t find it!)
I have MSN 6 beta and win XP.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dave
It is stored in your cookies folder if you don’t know where that is go Start>Search>Files or Folder>and type it in!
If you check the msn help files its in there but incase you can’t find it, here’s how:
Control Panel –> User Accounts –> Ur account –> Manage my network passwords (On the left).
Delete your account name. It won’t delete it online remember so you can login again fine and it will work. If you sign up another .net password remember to untick save password.
That is assuming your on XP. Don’t know about any other operating systems. Read the help file.
Soz I gave bad advice I got confused!
