MemberI deleted my old yahoo account (IM, mail, groups…) and figured it would delete my 360 as well. I can’t even log into my old 360 account and it’s been over a month now.
It didn’t.
I’ve tried sending messages to 360 Feedback, but never get responses. It’s really aggrivating. Who can I contact to get this resolved?

MemberHi Indy. I’ve found best to forget about asking Yahoo … if you want GOOD answers, come to Forums like this, and get REAL help! 😉
As for 360 – I hope THIS will answer your query.

MemberEagle_Kiwi wrote:Having got this far, IF you want to COMPLETELY DELETE your 360: … well, you can’t! (Not unless you close your whole Yahoo A/c, which would then delete your 360 PLUS your access to YM, Y!Games, and any other passworded Yahoo stuff).BUT, what you CAN do is set all the options in your 360 to “Private”, then YOU will be the only one who will ever see “your” page. (If you like you can also delete much of the info too, but there’s not much point, when it’s all totally “Private”.)
Unfortunately, the first paragraph is incorrect. Like I said, I closed my entire account and the only thing that remains is the 360 page.
As for the second paragraph, I can’t even access my 360 options since my login info will no longer work since the deletion of my account.

MemberUh oh 🙁
Ok Indy, well I’m glad you explained that. I just go by what I’ve heard/read, which was obviously incomplete/misleading. Source of that quote now amended.I see Yahoo Help quotes lots of things you lose if you close your account.
I’d infer that the last red item would cover 360 – but I guess maybe they haven’t (yet!?) included 360 in the process at all !?This page from Yahoo Answers includes enough info/links to make your head spin, and from all I can see there it does seem true that a 360 account/page can NOT be deleted!?
Here’s a further unsubstantiated comment I found somewhere: “leave it- dont add anything to it and in 2 years when they come round and clear up their servers u will be gotten rid of-be assured.”

MemberRIght on. I’m also thinking that once 360 has gone from Beta to an actual release it might be deleted since there’s technically no account pointing to the 360 page. We’ll see. Anyone know the date at which they presume to have 360 “official”?

MemberWell, it’s been resolved. Here is what I did (this might be useful in the FAQ or something as I’ve found a lot of other people having the same issue).
Scenario A: If you plan to wipe yourself completely off Yahoo (mail, profiles, IM, 360…), first go through and manually delete everything off your 360 page, then delete your Yahoo account.
Scenario B: If you have already deleted your Yahoo account and were hoping that it would automatically delete your 360 profile and it didn’t, go to the Yahoo 360 Beta Feedback Page.
Fill out the form and for Question 4 select “Other Feedback.” In the box below explain to them that you’ve deleted your Yahoo account and would like your 360 deleted as well. It will take them a while (three weeks in my case) to respond. Here is what they emailed me:

http://www.yahoo.com/I was able to respond with answers to every question except for the last one. (I forgot.) After waiting another week without a response, I emailed them again for an update. Within an hour my old 360 profile was deleted.
Hope this helps.
