So anyways, i think i just DL some sort of virus by accident. whenever i open my internet explorer i now have some Mirar search engine. it also says its a pop up blocker – but i get random pop ups. i tried searching for it in the “ad remove programs” and it wasnt there. i had norton antivirus an popup blocker before, but now that has disapeared off my internet browser.
could someone please tell me how to remove this program and how to get things back to normal?!
thank you!

but now my norton anispam/pop-up blocker is missing from the top of my IE. im wondering how id put it back up there. please let me know.
also, what are other good spyware/adaware removal programs? i downloaded stopzilla but it only removes programs if you buy it. im looking for something free as of now.

On the menu bar click View > Toolbars. If there is a check mark next to the toolbar name it indicates that the toolbar is visible on your browser page. If not, click to place a check mark next to the toolbar name to make it visible (you can un-check later if you do not want to view the toolbar).
If you did not find any toolbars listed, click Tools on the menu bar: If you have blockers, you will see Pop-up blocker listed and a sub-menu to turn on or turn off (the wording may vary based on your browser).Good Luck! 🙂
PS.a good antspyware in my opinion is Windows Defender look for it on Microsoft site.
