how do I get rid of shortcut

ok when I right clike to a prog and send to desktop I know we get the shortcut word is thare anyway to get rid of the shortcut text please
so from thare on im no longer get it. thanks

Right-click on the desktop icon, click “rename” and rename it to whatever you want.

Or if you really wan’t to get rid of it! Cuz you dont want a shortcut. You can just delete it!
