How do I recover a closed IM box?

😮 I was online and recieved some important info from someone and accidentally closed the IM box!! how do I recover the conversation? I am going nuts trying to figure this out! If anyone knows how to do this please let me know…..thx in advance.

You can’t, unless you use a program to log every conversation.

but under the heading edit then go to settings then click on the tab general settings there is an option there which asks if you would like to “keep IM conversation after text is closed” I just can’t figure out how to access that. again if anyone knows how plz let me know!!

If you are using AIM Triton, you have to have had the feature enabled before you closed the window I believe.

I did have the feature enabled what i need to know is how to retreive it??

from AIM triton, your AIM logs are stored in your “My Documents” folder (at least on XP) under the “My AIM Logs” folder, then in the folder for your screenname.
