Today I watched What the Bleep Do We Know?!, a scientific movie/documentary about the brain, mindpower, how these things work, etc.
While watching, one thing really caught my attention: How thought, Emotion, and Words affect water. The movie basically states that if you were to say focus or say negative things or energy (“Hate”, “Stupid”) on a bottle of water, the chemical structure would be unordered and non-crystalline. If you were to focus or say positive things or energy (“Love”, “Appreciation”) on a bottle of water, the chemical structure would be ordered and beautifully arranged.
This also works when different types of music were played or different types words were taped or spoken to a bottle of water:
When the words “thank you” were taped to a bottle of distilled water, the frozen crystals had a similar shape to the crystals formed by water that had been exposed to Bach’s “Goldberg Variations” (see below) — music composed out of gratitude to the man it was named for.
When Elvis Presley’s “Heartbreak Hotel” was played to water, the resulting frozen crystals were split in two.Below, you can see the results of taping the words “You Fool” to a container of distilled water. Interestingly, the pattern made by “You Fool” was almost identical to the pattern that emerged when heavy metal music was played.

If these small amounts of water can be affected so much by a simple “Thank you” or “You Fool”, think of what it can do to a human, which is 3/4 water…

Personally I think it’s a load of rubbish, but people want to believe stuff like that so be it. Anyone wanting to spend their hard earned cash on the book well I have one word …. sucker! :p
From the very little I’ve read about the matter it’s a load of rubbish, as far as I know no-one has been able to replicate the results of Mr Emoto, and his work hasn’t been peer-reviewed or been published by a respectable journal. Plus his proposals sound like utter garbage…
However I could be wrong, it was an article I read long time ago…
Interestingly another project by Mr Emot discovered that donating lots of money to penguins dramatically increased your lifespan and overall well being.

I am thinking the point of this was to promote people saying ”kind” words more often. I find it a little funny that heavy metal music had the same effect as saying ”you fool.” What exactly is that supposed to mean? I know plenty of folks who listen to heavy metal and their body composition isn’t all disordered :confused: :p
This sounds more like a chain email type of thing, it might spread good cheer, but I really don’t think taping a piece of paper with the word ”love” on it will do much to water structure.
