atpgod, can you give a short tutorial on how your program works? Newbie here & it looks cool but having problems figuring how exactly it works. Downloaded the .net patch, have it installed & opened, now what?
Thankscome on people, it’s a free program, first off…. and you’re expectin’ support?… anyways, if you go to the help menu, you’ll see a Help Sections… either go to that menu choice or press F1… and compiled help section will pop up… and go through it… the only thing that I think I forgot to add was the fact that I don’t allow for spaces in the Title of the theme (sorry)… if after reading the help you still have any questions… holla back…
I’m sorry, maybe I wasn’t specific enough, I was talking about the ATP Smiley Studio for AIM. Perhaps I’m missing something, but I don’t see a help menu, sorry.
Forgot. Also, when I go to http://expression.home.attbi.com/ … , to dl you other program, I get a broken link, cannot display.
sorry, about the expression maker… my ISP somehow managed to delete my home directory, and … As of now I’m still working on the Smiley Studio, so there isn’t really any help available… but real quick… just left-clik on the smiley set that you want to use… the small pop-up ought to appear (the one with no descriptions)… and click on the smiley you want to use… (some of the smiley’s won’t match exactly what you want it to be… i.e. ‘cool’ instead of ‘laughing’… I know about that, but please drop me a line when you find one, so I can add it to my list of changes)… oh and also, you can right-click to get the context menu (the one with the descriptions)… the paste thing seems to ’cause trouble if you don’t use the left-click first…
The Close button minimizes the app to the System Tray. To actually exit, you have to right-click and choose Exit… When the ASS (lol) is minimized to the tray, you can right click on the icon in the tray, and go through as use the Last Smiley set (that way you don’t have re-open the program just to use another smiley of the same set.). Hope that helps.
ok, I made a simple expression (following the tutorial) everything works fine EXCEPT the buddylist background image… Ive tried several different ways and even used the example just to see if I could get it to work, but to no avail. Maybe im using the wrong .bmp format(or whatever) or does it matter as long as its a .bmp???:confused:
So what host can i use to upload the .arf file to or how can i load it directly into aim? this is the only part i cant figure out. Thanks ahead of time.
ok im new at this too but i kinda got the hang of making em…..but after i change the file back to .arf and put it in the resource file then quit aim and start up again the file is not in there…..i only have one in there which is the standard…..i could go to mytheme.com but id rather have the arf file…..so if i do all the files the way i want em and edit the text from the tutorial and zip em then change it y wont it work or stay in the folder?
ok nvm i figured it out……now i have another problem….friends downloaded the file and put it in thier resource file and the side pics from the html dont work on their computer…?????? the buddylist background, icon and the im window work tho.
