MemberHi,
I have been getting this damn error saying that the Manifest.xml could not be found?? I have written that file 4 different times, and cannot find a error..? is there a certain strength of compression that you have to use for winzip? I like the Xtreme Xpression maker, but I want to be able to put my own graphics on the side.. Any Suggestions??April 24, 2004 at 3:52 am #96787DkFusion

MemberFrom the directions on creating your own expressions.. at https://bigblueball.com/im/aim/aim-expressions.asp
I may be totally wrong here.. but I am guessing that the reason to why others cannot view your custom expressions, is within the 2 catalog files.. those are the only 2 different files in the “authentic” aim expressions..

MemberOk.. Found a answer.. but need to find a solution.
“Right now, AOL isn’t allowing it. Only AOL made Expressions transfer to your buddy. It has to do with the security keys built into the xml referencing the aol database. This checks the key and then sends it to your buddy. So basically, AOL is blocking it. Be patient, I am sure someone will come up with a solution.”

MemberOkay, I went through and did all the stuff to do an AIM expression using the ‘AIM Expression Tutorial’ and then it told me the files were no longer valid. That they were out of date. Does anyone have the new bloody files? So I can do it all over again! Oh yay!
I hope someone sees this.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

MemberOkay, I think the prob is in the origional pasting code. It says version 1.0 and I have 5.9. Does anyone know the ‘encoding=”UTF-8″‘ for this version. Or is it the same?

KeymasterThe initial post is pretty old. These instructions worked well back then, but all bets are off with the more recent versions of AIM.
Anyone want to help update? 😀
