Hello,
How and is it possible to deactivate a yahoo email only but NOT my yahoo account? I know how to delete the account but that’s not what I want then I won’t have my messenger name anymore. I don’t even use my yahoo email.

January 15, 2008 at 7:03 am #166025BrianMemberIf you want to delete your Yahoo! account(s), go to:
https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user
If you should decide to reuse your Yahoo! account(s), you can do this in 3 (or 6) months.

The e-mail address cannot be used by another user as it is reserved always for the account of the same name.
