I have a 10 year old that IM alot and was looking for any online resources that help a parent know what is going on when they are online.

Nothing beats understanding and trust, sit with your child, observe, eventually an undesirable element will sneak into the chat, see how it is handled, guide them, remain calm and reassuring, if a situation comes that the child does not handle well ask if you may take over and reply. Then calmly discuss how the child should handle it next time. Show trust, walk away but remain within reach, their values are simply extensions of yours, believe in those values.
