How to put a password on your folder

Ei, does anybody here knows how to put a password on a certain folder? I know it has something to do with the .ini file and my tut of it is missing :(… so can anybody help? thanx in advance. 😀

I’m not sure if you can without using a third party password protection program, as i’ve been doing some reading into the possibility of this myself.

However, if you are running Windows XP with the NTFS file system, you can make folders private to ensure that only you can access them.

you could compress the folder with winzip then put a password on it through winzip…

thanks for the links, but unfortunately some people don’t have credit cards… like me to buy software esp. from the net 😀 I was just lookin to crack up some codes into my folder, because I have seen it done. Again as I have said before, my tutorial of it was wiped out because my hard drive crashed out on me 🙁 and I had to reinstall everything. Nwei, thanx for the help guys 😀
