ParticipantOk, I’m getting a bit frustrated with you. 😡 Can you not see that the post you are attempting to quote has been crossed out. Your answer is plain to see if you read all the posts. YES IT CAN BE DONE. Faizan has found a method to do this and has shown you THREE times now! Go back to the start and read through this thread from start to finish.:D

ParticipantThank you magistyk. I know this is tough to believe but I am human, and do not know all (See I can admit when I am wrong ;)). I had not known of OSI’s capabilities previously, and once I had learned I crossed out my response so as NOT to confuse you, however unsuccesfull that was. That’s the beauty of forums, some may not know all the answers, but usually one does and will post the correct answer for you, me and others to know. 😀

Member“could you please delete all above posts in this topic apart from the one’s which explain him what to do”
Please Don’t………
I would like to have the opinions of many or even the attempts of some code junkies that may be able to allow one to do what is so easy with an html link in AOL and Yahoo yet is a great conundrum to do in MSN.
I know little about OSI but I would like to have one (maybe) that actualy works with most peoples browsers without getting non loading pages and pages with errors and also without having to tweak my or another persons pc or programs. (sort of defeats the purpose)
I thank you x google.

ParticipantZian,
Seeing as how the OSI does not meet your needs, and you speak of “HTML links”, with a bit of common net-sense you can tinker around with the OSI code to make an actual link. Clicking on this link will give you the same result as clicking on an OSI image, a MSN chat window opening up with your .NET passport entered as it’s destination.
Please note that if a person would like to send a message to you, they need to be signed in on their MSN first before they go clicking on anything.
And for the love of God, Tony, please don’t kill me is this conflicts with any OSI terms or policies. Y’know, the ones I didn’t read. 😀
Other than OSI, there is no other MSN v6 compatible way of inviting IM conversations to my knowledge.

MemberThanks Anna,
Considering that every osi I have seen, tried and clicked did absolutly diddly squat with msn I guess I’m still up a creek without a canoe.
Oh well. I’ll wait till somebody figures it out or just stick with good old yahoo and aol.
I think it’s all Gates’ fault 🙁
