You mean becide your own name in someones list? Change your away status. I just type the address in. It has to fit, ie= the number of spaces Yahoo! allows.

Some people also have their IDs as URLs, i.e. they made their id http://www.freddys-utilities.co.uk some clients, not sure about messenger, will auto turn them into a hyperlink. You could make your nickname a hyperlink i think, still not sure how messenger would treat it.

how would you make a link in the friends list where instead of http://google.com it shows google on the list.
