Yeah, just about the same thing happened to my son. He signed in one morning just to be told his username and/or password was invalid, even though he had typed it in correctly and tried signing in many times. Finally I created a new account for him and he was able to sign in without any trouble.
One of those WLM mess-ups, I suppose?
Actually Philip, you should check if someone has something against your son, because there is a program you can use to block someone from MSN.
Sadly it works and sadly, MSN won’t acknowledge it exists and works. So they won’t block it/fix the bug/security hole.

How totally illogical of Microsoft not to acknowledge this! Someone should seriously be bugging the big M about this, otherwise what’s the point of using WLM when someone can easily block your access if they get their grubby hands on that program?
Uhh..well, I’ve tried and they don’t seem to want to admit the problem exists.
ES, don’t you have some developers on your contact list? Shouldn’t you prove that it works? 😉
Uh…that would be suicide…
It’s not the Developers that I have to deal with, it’s PR. They’re blocking the whole investigation into the issue, it is really annoying.
I bit the bullet.
I’ve gotten a few Developers on the issue, we’ll see where it goes.
