I am having some troubles with yahoo kickin me off

Hi, I am having some troubles w/yahoo kicking me off. Every time i go into a chatroom i go to click on someone’s name and i type something to someone it closes my yahoo down and it session has expired please restart messenger…wtf does that mean? if anyone coule please help me with this problem thank you.

thatz watz happenin 2 me too… but i dont go 2 chat roomz… I PM someone from my buddy list and boom my YM closes… :confused: strange…

I think its strange….i’ve been talking to a few of my buddies and they said it hasnt happend to them…so i dont know what to think anymore…but what i did was i switched to another name i had and it seemed 2 be working fine for awhile and then it started doing it to me again and then i switched back to my primary one and then it started working again so i have nooo idea what the hell is going on…

it happen to me too, i got kick off the yahoo when i’m in the chat and when i try to pm someone and it close my yahoo.can someone help,i notice this is done by someone booting.but don’t know how to stop them.please help

Hey all i dont know much bout yahoo messenger is it basically the same as msn messenger, do u have to download any software or anything like that……. is it good??? 😀

Hi,

Just a word to the wise…if you talk about iggying someone you are more prone to get booted. So I just keep my iggy’s to myself and keep chatting. I have an online friend who likes to broadcast her iggy’s and now she gets booted all the time. This may not be your problen but I thought it was worth mentioning. 🙂

Now no one get mad at gaz just an idea lol. I think the problems lies with either (a) the users ytunnel blocking the pm you send your mate thinking its a boot pm or (b) Yahoo trying to stop people with ytunnel pming folks

That is what i think is the problem

I had this problem last week. I would go to IM someone in the chat room, and Messenger would shut down and give me the session expiration notification. When I logged back in and IMed them again before going back into the room, I could talk to them and continue talking to them in IM after I went back into the room. I don’t understand why this happens and why sometimes it doesn’t. Yahoo will always remain a great mystery, I guess.
