I recently had a tremendous problem with using DeadAIM with my AIM instant messanger. Recently I figured out that certain versions of DeadAIM are incompatible with nVidia’s Desktop Manager suite. After researching and searching on my computer I found out I have that program on my computer. Is there a way to get a different desktop manager suite? So I can run DeadAIM on my computer? On the JDennis.net page, it says that the problem was corrected back in DeadAIM 3.1, http://www.jdennis.net/DeadAIM/changelog.php, and although I tried using 4.0 and 3.2, both gave me this problem, so I’m assuming this is it. Can someone tell me how to get rid of this nVidia program?

Or look for c:Program FilesnVIDIA or something like that, and find the uninstalled. You might need your Display Driver CD, try to remove the nVIDIA software. It should load up in Windows without the nVIDIA drivers.

well man, i have XP home edition and the nVIDIA driver thing on my computer… i have it disabled. basically all its for is if you want to have multiple monitors connected to one computer. other than that, it does allow for a few options that frankly, no one needs. so really you could most likely just remove that program. i’d just check with HP to see if it would affect the way your computer starts, but it shouldnt cause a problem.
