ok this is my first time posting here, this is possibly the only place i have found that just might help me on this, but im having major web cam problems, it goes on like this, ill let my gf watch my cam, itll stay on for a short while, 10 minutes max then it automatically closes itself. I have ranned anti spyware/adware/virus and nothing comes up, i have also installed and reinstalled messenger countless number of times and im really needing some help, it would be highly appreciated. thank you
I which IM are you using?…..are you on a Firewall? Router? Have you updated all your divers? What OS are you running?
check your webcam settings… it maybe just a timeout problem or something… im not completely sure… but like everyone else said… update the drivers, check your firewall and router settings…
i updated the drivers last night from the logitech site itself, the OS im running is windows XP, service pack 2, and as far as firewalls go, i had it turned off and it still did that.. and the messenger im using is MSN 6.3… right now im going to install and use msn 7.0 and see if its still continue, ill report back in maybe 30 mins and let you know the results, thanks for the help you guys
aight sorry for the long delay, but when i used msn 7.0 it still did that, blah its seriously becoming a huge annoyance i dont want to spend 50 bucks on a new webcam and find out that theres actually something within the comp thats affecting it cause then itll defeat the purpose of buying the new cam…
