Well I looked around a little and didnt see any topics but I imagine theres probably a few threads named “WHATS THE BEST VERSION OF AIM LOL!!!” but I’m posting a new thread anyways. Sorry guys.:p
I know it’s probably a matter of opinion, so here’s a better question: Does anyone know where I can find a comprehensive list of changes made to AIM on a per-version basis? I’m looking for a slightly older version of aim that is compatible with Middle_Man/Otsego, comes with the ghosting feauture, but doesn’t contain so much damn bloatware. The wildtangent games are lame anyways… but yea, anyone know where I can find such a list? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: More specifically, not just differences between versions, but builds… (5.5.3572 vs 5.5.3595, etc)
AIM 5.2 in my opinion is the best, it has no bloatware or wildtangent and weather bug. It has all the important features.
http://www.oldversion.com has all the AIM versions. Go there, and check them out for yourself.

I think the best version of AIM has to be 4.7. I have thought that anything in the 5.0 group and above are loads of crap.
Most people have found that these are the best AIM versions:
5.2.3292
5.2.3277
5.5.3415
5.5.3572
whats the difference between 5.2.3292 & 5.2.3277 ?
Nothing really. They are just the 2 best 5.2 AIM versions. And there are probaly bug fixes in there no one knows about.
