i have a huge problem i was reading this web sites forum on how to fix my aims im window since alot of ppl had the lagging problem.. after i tried the program to “fix” it my aim wouldnt load and from that i restarted .. the whole desktop set up is totally messed up now.. it makes that error beep if you press or exit anything.. pops up this message about runtime saying an application ive never heard of not bein able to load.. and then gives the whole system a minute counts it down so nicely be4 it shuts down my computer and turns it back on.. when its on for the 30 seconds or so be4 it pops up i cant drag anything barely open anything my d link for my internet router doesnt come up or connect.. ill click aim for example and it show up then it closes.. i know nothing bout computers im on my sisters right now which works a million times better right now than mine even tho mines way newer.. im so frustrated and i dont wanna do anything else to mess up it can anyone help me on this
on THIS website someone was having the same problem with the slow aim IMS and suggested another website to download a problem that fixes this problem it was http://www.xblock.com/download-freeware.shtml i went there and downloaded it and did what it said and now my computer is messed.. it doesnt give me enuff time to run my antivirus be4 that count down message comes on
It sounds like the Blaster worm to me…with the coundown thing and all that. Instructions on how to remove this virus can be found here.

well thatd be awesome if i could actually connect to the internet.. it doesnt let me open anything!!! when i looked in my network connections nothing is there.. so i cant connect to the internet let alone have it open for enuff time to actually download whatever yur telling me to…
How are you accessing this website then? If you are on dialup, if I am not mistaken, there will be no network connection.
no im not on dial up i use a network router the highspeed box is connected with my sisters computer and i use a router to get connections and the folder i have shows the locations… but its all good i did a pc recovery and it works beautifully… i just strongly recommend that no one uses that xblock program cuz thats where it all started
I would still run a good scan on your pc cuz theres a reason that it did that and just restorin it might not get everything and clean ya registry.:rolleyes:
Hi If i put this reply on the wrong thread im sorry but im kinda confused. Im not very good on computers:o but love msn messenger. Lately i have not been able to get on to it tho becasue of somthing saying i need to ‘enable secure sites’ and ‘your settings prohibit Active X from viewing this site or somthing’ please help me:( i really want to get msn up and running again if you can help thanks so much!!:)
hey sorry i no wat u mean by slider now:o i didnt see it cuz i didnt click on custom level iw was set on defult level but messenger and secure sites still wont work… no wnything else that could be the problem?
