the older versions of ICQ (back in 98 and 99) used to allow you to set a preference so that hitting just “enter” would send a message, as opposed to having to hit ctrl+enter. the newer ones don’t have this, but does anyone know if there is a workaround way or if there is some registry hack for this?
How about using ALT-S, (which also works on most of the other messengers)?
that’s as bad or worse than ctrl+enter… my goal is to not have to use a key-combination to send a message, nor have to point the mouse at the Send button. the other messengers, as you mention, all have enter alone for sending, and use shift/ctrl +enter for inserting a carriage return, which i prefer much better.
Me too. It’s driving me crazy to not just hit like MSN and Yahoo. Is there a hack for this?
i dont know any hack, but I am sure that clones work with enter only like SIM Messenger
i just use tab enter…
but id rather like to just hit enter instead
I need more memory for my icq mail……help please..can be
