ParticipantThe easiest way to remove ICQ adds is to go to ICQLite Directory (usaully C://Program Files/ICQLite) Open the folder LiteDataFiles and replace Banners.xml , psearch.xml and clbanner.xml with a folder of the same name (Eg. Delete Banners.xml and create a new folder and name it Banners.xml)
This should get rid of the google thing and all those bannners Without all this registry editing :

If you downloaded ICQLite, you might want to remove the advertising that is placed at the bottom of the main window and diaglog window.
I will give you some details to do it manually. To edit the ICQLite.exe file, you’ll need a HEX editor. I found the freeware Hex Editor XVI32 perfectly suited for this task. Thers is no installation, just download the file, create a folder on your hard drive, unzip the XVI32.zip file there, and run the XVI32.exe file.

When you have the HEX editor running, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you are not running messenger. Right-click its icon in the system tray, and from the menu select Shutdown.
2. Now you’ll need to locate the ICQLite executable ICQLite.exe, it will normally be in Program FilesICQLITE
3. Make a backup of the file. Right-click ICQLite.exe and from the menu choose Copy. Now right-click on an empty area in the same folder, and select Paste from the menu. The backup will be named Copy of ICQLite.exe. If you ever want to get back to the original file, simply delete ICQLite.exe, and then rename Copy of ICQLite.exe to ICQLite.exe
4. From the menu in XVI32, choose File > Open, locate ICQLite.exe, and open it
5. From the menu, select Search > Find, select text, and enter banner, press OK
6. The value selected will be banner.??? at right window and left window will show hex code, simply type 0 to replace it (so 62 61 6E 6E 65 72 2E 78 GD 6C becomes press 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0)
7. Repeat step 5 & 6 or press CTRL+F short cut key and strick enter again. Repeat step 5 & 6 when XVI32 show information “String not fount”
8. When done select File > Save from the menu, and exit XVI32
9. Reopen ICQLite, now without the ads!Worakit Sankla
