i think bigblueball should make a sub-forum for aim thats about modding aim for all the people that want to show off their modded aims and those looking for help it would be much easier to find help through that way then searching through the whole aim forum looking for threads
Well along with that, we should add a “AIM Security” sub-forum, “AIM Programs” sub-forum, “AIM Tips & Tricks” sub-forum, “AIM Screename” sub-forum, and so on. (hopefully you see my point)
Exactly. It would take up too much space on the main page and would be confusing. I think there would be hardly any posts in some. The only subforums I really recommend are for Alt. IM Apps, include ACTUAL Applications not just one forum.

I’m not sure I get the concept behind the suggestion. Can you provide an example of how this Mods forum would be used?
Alot of people mod the look of their AIM using ResHack. He was saying that we start a subforum specifically for things such as modding help, modding discussion, and showing off what you have modded.
But, I don’t find modding populer enough anymore to the point where we would need a subforum topic for it. And there is already a great place for discussing it:

AIM modding is simply not popular enough to make your idea a reality. You could easily just make it a sticky in the AIM section, that would work great. Plus I just dont think AIM modding is…interesting enough for people to actually post what their’s looks like, but that is just me.

You’ve made your suggestion, now please give us some time to think about the idea, discuss it and whatnot. Just because you don’t hear anything doesn’t mean we’re not doing anything. 🙂
